Enabling environmentally friendly exhibiting
The National Oceanography Centre, Southampton came to us with a problem; they have several exhibitions a year at which to exhibit but all with varying stand sizes. So, the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton required a way of exhibiting in a flexible way and asked us if we could help. We came up with a modular exhibition stand solution which could easily be assembled and configured for different space dimensions using interlocking panels, focussed around a plasma screen presentation. In addition to ultimate flexibility, it's a very environmentally friendly solution as the system simply packs away into small carry cases and can be used time and time again, avoiding the need for bespoke and costly traditional exhibition stands which produce a lot of waste. Fluid also developed the NOCS brand, designing the system graphics and straplines. The robust system is now in its sixth year having appeared at over 60 events – plus when not exhibiting, NOC use it at their headquarters to create and impactful installation to welcome visitors.
